Modifications/History Car shipped to Sydney on SS Pt Chalmers and was received into Nuffield (Aust) inventory on October 2, 1953. It was first registered in N.S.W. and delivered to H. D. Gascoyne, "Carenya" Burns Bay Rd, Lane Cove, N.S.W. on October 30, 1953. 'When just a student John purchased his car as a non-runner in 1969, with a ceased clutch for $600. When John got his first job he bought an MGB and worked infrequently on the TD. The car is now at its most advanced for years, and John now has the motivation to complete the project. John took an active role in organising the 1998 MGCC Hobart National Meeting. |
