Modifications/History Car shipped to Sydney on SS Pt Chalmers and was received into Nuffield (Aust) inventory on October 2, 1953. It was first registered in N.S.W. and delivered to E. Thearle of Lot 227A Glossop St, Blacktown on December 30, 1953. 'Car currently under restoration - stripped to the chassis, rechromed, new rubber & wiring. Currently has a TF block with a TD head. Car Registered as 53MGTD, previously EGX 468 until 13/12/1968. Information on this car/owner obtained at the 1998 MGCC Hobart National Meeting. Original body colour was Woodlands Green with green trim. |
