Modifications/History John Hawksworth restored this car over 2 years, completing the job in 1998. The engine was rebuilt by Ray Skewes and the gearbox was reconditioned by John Needham. Details on this owner were supplied by his friend Peter Howe. Car purchased by John Coventry on 14th May 2002 via MG Workshops. At that time the odometer read 03199 miles & now reads as 04490. John has fitted a solid state fuel pump and changed the polarity of the car. Car gets used on Sunny days and is greatly appreciated. David McNabb (S.A.) advises that this car is now owned by Hugh Wilmott-Griffith in Adelaide who has sorted out the electronic ignition and the car now has South Australian rego, but # unknown. |
