Modifications/History When originally built this car was painted Black with Red trim. Car shipped to Sydney on SS Dover Hill and was received into Nuffield (Aust) inventory on May 31, 1950. Car was first registered in N.S.W. on June 2, 1950 as number HU 922. It was turned into a racing car in 1959 by K. Alan Morton. It is fitted with a Grey Holden motor with triple SU's and a 2.5 Litre Riley gearbox. It has TD rear axle assembly with a Holden centre. The car is built on a TD chassis and uses TD brakes and running gear. Behind the TD Grille is an aluminium body except for the rear boat tail section which started out life as the bonnet of a Peujeot 203 sedan. |
